King's Best Friend

King's Best Friend

$975.00Price

It’s common practice to display imagery of the lion. The king of the jungle is a symbol of strength, courage, and power. The mighty cat became revered across cultures, and these leadership qualities became closely associated with royalty status.

This piece was inspired by and created after the bronze sculpture, “Seated Lion” by French sculptor, Antoine-Louis Barye (1795-1875) which is publicly displayed at Mount Vernon Square Park in Baltimore, MD
