Sugarloaf in August (East)

This serene landscape was completed on an August morning at the peak of the Maryland landmark, Sugarloaf Mountain. The artist was facing East peering over vast forest and farmland. Using a variety of tonal greens and aquas to create the patch-like agricultural pattern, the viewers gaze ends with a light and airy sky-blue horizon.
